These general terms and conditions of sale (hereinafter "GTC") govern all product sales made on the website afrikanluxury.com (hereinafter the "Site"), published by AfrikanLuxury SAS, with registered office at Quartier Médina, Dakar, Sénégal, registered under SIRET number 123 456 789 00001.
Any order placed on the Site implies the unreserved acceptance of these GTC by the customer. These GTC prevail over any other document from the customer, unless otherwise formally and expressly agreed.
The products offered for sale are handcrafted leather bags adorned with bogolan patterns, handmade in Senegal. Each piece is unique.
Product photographs and descriptions are presented with the greatest possible accuracy. However, they are not contractual. Slight variations in colour, dimensions or weight may exist due to the artisanal nature of production.
Product prices are displayed in euros inclusive of all taxes (TTC), including VAT where applicable. They may also be displayed in USD and XOF for informational purposes, depending on the currency selected by the customer.
The applicable prices are those in effect at the time of order validation. Shipping is free for all orders, worldwide.
AfrikanLuxury SAS reserves the right to modify its prices at any time. Products will be invoiced based on the prices in effect at the time the order is placed.
The ordering process is as follows:
The order is confirmed by sending a confirmation email to the address provided by the customer. This email summarises the order details and constitutes proof of the sales contract.
AfrikanLuxury SAS reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order from a customer with whom there is a dispute, suspicion of fraud, or a prior unpaid order.
Payment is made online securely via the Stripe platform. Accepted payment methods include:
The amount is debited at the time of order confirmation. 3D Secure authentication may be required by your bank to validate the payment. Customer banking details are never stored on our servers.
Shipping is free worldwide. Estimated delivery times are as follows:
A tracking number is provided by email upon shipment. These delivery times are indicative and do not constitute a contractual commitment. In case of a delivery delay exceeding 30 days, the customer may cancel the order and obtain a full refund.
The transfer of risk takes place upon delivery of the parcel to the customer or the third party designated by them. In case of a damaged parcel upon receipt, the customer must note reservations with the carrier and inform customer service within 48 hours.
In accordance with articles L221-18 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, the consumer has a period of fourteen (14) calendar days from receipt of the product to exercise their right of withdrawal, without having to give any reason or pay any penalties.
To exercise this right, the customer must notify their withdrawal decision by means of an unambiguous statement, by email to contact@afrikanluxury.com or by using the standard withdrawal form set out in Article 8 of these GTC.
Return shipping costs are borne by the customer. The product must be returned in its original packaging, in perfect condition, unworn and unwashed, with all tags attached.
The refund is made within fourteen (14) days of receiving the returned product, using the same payment method used for the initial transaction, unless the customer expressly agrees otherwise.

Returned products must be in their original condition: unworn, unwashed, unaltered, with all tags and in their original packaging.
Refunds are made via the original payment method (bank card via Stripe). Any product returned damaged, worn, washed or without tags will not be eligible for a refund.
In case of a defective or non-conforming product, the customer must contact customer service at contact@afrikanluxury.com within 48 hours of receipt. Return shipping costs will then be covered by AfrikanLuxury SAS.
Regardless of any commercial warranty, the customer benefits from the following legal warranties:
The seller is required to deliver goods that conform to the contract. The consumer has a period of two (2) years from delivery of the goods to take action. They may choose between repair or replacement of the goods, subject to the cost conditions provided for in article L217-9 of the French Consumer Code.
The customer may request the cancellation of the sale or a reduction in the sale price in accordance with article 1644 of the French Civil Code, if the goods sold have a hidden defect rendering them unfit for their intended use or which so reduces that use that the buyer would not have purchased them had they been aware.
AfrikanLuxury SAS shall not be held liable for non-performance of the contract in case of:
In any event, the liability of AfrikanLuxury SAS is limited to the amount of the order in question.
All elements of the Site (texts, photographs, logos, bogolan patterns, graphic designs, videos, source code) are the exclusive property of AfrikanLuxury SAS and are protected by French and international intellectual property laws.
Any reproduction, representation, modification, publication, transmission or distortion, in whole or in part, of the Site or its content, by any means and on any medium, is prohibited without the prior written consent of the Site manager.
Personal data collected in connection with orders is processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR - EU Regulation 2016/679) and the French Data Protection Act of 6 January 1978, as amended.

In the event of a dispute that cannot be resolved amicably, the consumer may use a consumer mediator free of charge, in accordance with articles L611-1 to L616-3 of the French Consumer Code.

These GTC are governed by French law. Any dispute relating to their interpretation and/or execution falls under the jurisdiction of French courts.
For international disputes and in the absence of an amicable resolution, the Paris Judicial Court (Tribunal judiciaire de Paris) shall have sole jurisdiction.
The consumer is informed that they may in any event resort to conventional mediation or any other alternative dispute resolution method before bringing the matter before the competent courts.
AfrikanLuxury SAS reserves the right to modify these GTC at any time. The applicable GTC are those in effect at the date of the order. The customer is invited to regularly consult the latest version of the GTC available on the Site.
